Sabers III has now officially entered pre-production.  The spirtual sequel to Sabers II and Sabers, Sabers III strives to introduce new visual techniques never before seen in a Lilredhead Studios movie.

The Sabers movies never link, meaning the first has nothing to do with the second plot-wise and so on.  The movies do share similar characteristics, the main ones being no dialogue and lots of lightsaber fights.  With that, I can say that Sabers III is returning to a feeling the original set forth.  At the same time, the third film will also build upon the first film's foundation, introducing a dark story that weaves a tale of two characters at war with each other.  While there will be quite a bit of character development in this one, the fights definitely do not take a back seat.  We have a lot of new interesting and fierce fights written into this film.

Like the first Sabers, there will be no Star Wars references past the weapons the two characters wield.  While Sabers II had different authors for the screenplay, Sabers III is being penned by me (I also wrote the first movie).  I'm also acting as director while Damian Winter has come on board as DP and Technical Director.

We hope to begin shooting by the end of October but that all depends on how casting and other technical issues pan out.  But as more information becomes available, you will find it right here.
